15 oz vinyl: the in-between. Heavier than 13 oz, lighter than 18 oz.

"Good for" is guidance, not a spec. Measure your space.
Make it readable. Plan on about 1 inch of letter height for every 10 feet of viewing distance, so 3-inch letters read from about 30 feet. Across a football field, go bigger.

Reinforced hems and metal grommets come standard. Grommets (about 3/8-inch holes) sit in all 4 corners and about every 24 to 36 inches around the edges, so no single point carries the whole load. The corners are reinforced with internal polyester webbing, where the pull is strongest. Hang it right. Use every grommet. Bungees beat rigid ties because they absorb gusts. A banner tied only at the corners acts like a sail. We don't sell poles, brackets, or frames. |

Vinyl or mesh for a football or baseball fence?
Mesh for open, windy chain-link. It lets air pass through, which reduces wind load and protects the banner, the grommets, and the fence. Choose solid vinyl for gym walls, sheltered fences, and entrances where you want the boldest print. Skip wind slits in vinyl; choose mesh instead.
How Long Will My Banner Last Outdoors?
Our banner materials are built for outdoor use, but lifespan depends on sun exposure, wind, weather, and how the banner is installed. 13 oz Vinyl: Typically 1–3 years outdoors. Great for everyday banners, events, and seasonal signage. 15 oz Vinyl: Typically 2–4 years outdoors. Can you match our school colors?
We print in CMYK, so we get as close as CMYK allows. If your brand guide lists a Pantone color, convert it to its CMYK equivalent and set your file to those values. Most school colors, like navy, maroon, forest green, black, and gold, come out very close. Judge color against your approved proof, not your monitor.
How fast will our banner arrive?
Same-Day Production / Free 3-Day Shipping. Same-day refers to production time, not delivery. Ordering for a Friday game? Place it the week before. Work backward from the date, leave a buffer day, and approve your proof quickly so production can start.
Can we order a different banner for each senior or sport?
Yes. Add each design and size to the cart separately so each prints from its own file. That keeps the football art off the volleyball banner. You can order a single banner, so one banner for one senior is fine.
Do you take purchase orders?
No. All orders are paid by credit card at checkout. A school card, a booster club or PTA card, or a staff card with reimbursement all work. Your order confirmation email is your receipt.
What goes on a team roster banner?
Your team name, logo, and colors, then player names and numbers, the coaching staff, and a season line. Keep the logo and colors evergreen, and update the roster each year.
What size should a team banner be?
For hallways and gym walls, 3×6, 3×8, or 4×8 ft. For gym end walls and stadium fences, 5×10 ft and up. Any custom size is available; email sales@schoolsignsfast.com for pricing.
Can we update our team banner every season?
Yes. There's no minimum on banners, so you can order a single updated roster or schedule banner each season. Leave the year off evergreen banners so they keep working.
Can you build our team banner from a team photo?
