Outdoor vinyl banners require structural finishing to withstand wind loads and tension:

• Heat-Welded Hems: Fusing the edges creates a double-thick border that prevents tears along stress points.
• Grommets: Metal grommets with about 3/8-inch holes in all 4 corners and about every 24–36 inches along the edges, for secure tie-downs using zip ties, carabiners, or bungees.
• Reinforced Corners: Internal polyester webbing reinforces all four corners to handle high-wind tension along fence lines.
• Mesh Vinyl Option: For outfield fences or windy stadium locations, 8 oz. breathable mesh vinyl allows wind to pass directly through the material, reducing sail effect and protecting the fence line.

High-grade commercial banners are constructed from 13 oz. to 18 oz. scuff-resistant, waterproof PVC vinyl printed with UV-cured inks. The inks fuse directly into the substrate, making them resistant to rain, mud, fading, and scratch damage during team transport. Banners can be wiped clean using warm water and mild soap after outdoor games.

Proper storage extends the lifespan of your graphics for multiple seasons:

• Always Roll, Never Fold: Folding creates permanent creasing and cracks in the printed ink layer. Roll the banner tightly with the printed graphics facing outward to prevent wrinkling.
• Clean & Dry: Ensure the banner is completely dry before rolling to prevent mildew during long-term storage.
• Temperature Control: Store flat or standing vertically in a cool, dry area away from direct sunlight and extreme heat.
